Henry Swieca is a reputed businessman, whose name is listed among New York's billionaires. He is the son of two holocaust survivors from Poland, who came to America from France in 1955. Henry Swieca spent his childhood in Washington Heights, New York.

He was just nineteen years old when his parents died, leaving him without any financial support. His early life was filled with struggles and difficulties as he did not have the financial means, to support himself or his brother's education, so he tried his hands in stocks, in order to earn money.

He completed his bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University and a post-graduation in Business Administration, from Columbia Business School. It is all because of his hard work and determination, that today Henry is regarded as a successful hedge funding manager.

After graduating, Henry Swieca also worked at Merrill Lynch, where he dealt with equity index options. In addition to this, he also became a part of Dillon Read, as an institutional investor advisor. Furthermore, in 1984, Swieca and Glenn Dubin established; The Dubin and Swieca Group.

Swieca made a fortune by working hard with sincere dedication. His efforts paid off, and he became the leader of the hedge funding market. He is the founder of Talpion Fund Management, and he co-founded Highbridge Capital Management.

In 2004, Henry Swieca and Glenn Dubin sold 55 percent shares to JP Morgan Chase and the remaining shares in 2009. At present, he is running Talpion Fund Management.
