Free Divorce Cloud Ware for Arizona Residents
Phoenix, Arizona, December 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Mesa family law attorney Billie Tarascio (MyModernLaw.com) has spent a lot of money trying to help people who can’t afford an attorney.
When she discovered that 8 in 10 people who file for divorce in Maricopa County cobble together the paperwork themselves from limited courthouse documents -- and then stand in front of a judge to plead their case without knowing the hidden dangers, she knew something had to be done. That’s when she hired a team of programmers and designers to create an online resource for the DIY divorce in Arizona.
But something was still missing even after Access Legal launched in 2014. Even though the cloud-based software on the website offered help for a fraction of the cost of a standard divorce, “people weren’t taking advantage of it, “ she said. “My law firm was growing because people were paying for full service, but the other group of people who couldn’t afford it, were still suffering.
“So I decided to give it away – because it’s not worth anything if it’s not helping people,” Tarascio said.
Beginning in January 2016, Tarascio will give away unlimited free access to AccessLegalDocs.com, where people can use the online software to create the legal paperwork they need to file a divorce in Maricopa County. Unlike the limited paperwork offered by the county courthouse, the Access Legal software creates the exact same documents lawyers use. Plus, she’s holding a free online instructional session “How To Represent Yourself In Family Court” to teach people how to use it on Jan. 5 at 8 p.m.
There are a limited number of spaces for the live event, where attendees will be able to ask questions. To reserve a space, go to https://modernlaw.leadpages.co/how-to-represent-yourself-al/.
