Elevate Basketball Circuit Starts Registration for its Inaugural 2015 Season

Elevate Basketball Circuit looks to be what youth travel basketball was always intended for: quality teams, quality facilities and skilled coaches.

Elevate Basketball Circuit (EBC), a youth travel basketball league for premier basketball programs, has started its inaugural 2015 season by opening up its registration today.  This much anticipated league features boys and girls teams, grades 6th-11th, within the Midwest, Southwest and Southeast regions.  The EBC encompasses sixteen (16) states within the US in its first season and starts its first session weekend on March 27-29, 2015 in Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kansas, Illinois and Texas.

The EBC will bring high level basketball programs together to play in five session weekends, equaling twenty season games with twenty-four teams in each grade level and gender.  The top eight teams in each grade are put in a playoff session, giving them automatic entrance in the EBC Nationals.  Those teams not making the EBC Nationals will qualify for the NIT Championships a week after the EBC Nationals.  With five divisions, the EBC will reach a total of 1,440 basketball teams within the league, making for a true national championship atmosphere.   EBC’s final coveted event takes place on July 9-13, 2015 in a currently undisclosed location.

David Kelly, organizer and president of the EBC, has envisioned this travel league for over eighteen months.  Kelly has organized several large tournaments and events in the past, being best known for the RimRockers Tournaments; however, the EBC will be the largest project done to date.

“Being able to bring together quality programs to play teams they don’t usually see and ensure teams always play other quality programs will make all teams involved better,” states Kelly.  “The goal of the EBC is to bring very good teams together and challenge them with other very good teams to make them great in July.”

The league does include two NCAA certified tournaments during the season as well as the EBC Nationals being NCAA sanctioned.   During the season, EBC will also have college coaches such as Scott Sanderson, Tony Thompson, Walter Webb and others to talk to players and parents about the recruitment process and how to make their student-athlete more desirable to recruiters and coaches.

Highly ranked teams that have already joined the EBC consist of powerhouses such as Ohio Basketball Club, Detroit Spartans, Illinois Bears, Music City Magic, Nashville Celtics and Missouri Mavericks.  With a high level of competition each session, the inaugural season is sure to be a success.   The first session of the EBC starts from March 27-29, 2015 and will open in ten cities in its first week.
