Additive Manufacturing Users Group Leads in 20 Most Influential List

TCT Magazine's Top 20 most influential reader poll includes AMUG board members, ambassador and members.

Five representatives of the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) are named as the Top 20 most influential people in the rapid technologies industry, a reader poll published by The TCT Magazine in its latest edition. AMUG's Top 20 includes two board members, one ambassador and two members.

Gary Rabinovitz, president, and Todd Grimm, additive manufacturing industry advisor, are the two AMUG board members on the list. Graham Tromans, European ambassador, had the honor of being named Editor's Choice. Neil Hopkinson, a long-time member, and Jeremy Pullin, a first-year member, round out the AMUG Top 20.

Rabinovitz said, "I am honored and humbled to be named to this list of distinguished people that includes industry founders, CEOs and thought leaders. But it does not surprise me that the Additive Manufacturing Users Group is represented so well." He continued, "AMUG advances and educates on additive manufacturing and 3D printing. To do that, our users group includes some of the very best in the field."

James Woodcock, group editor of The TCT Magazine and www.prsnlz.me, represented the publication at AMUG's 2012 Conference. Woodcock said, "Like Gary, I am not surprised that AMUG has the most representatives of any organization on the Top 20 list. At the AMUG Conference, I witnessed the free-flowing exchange of insight, information and experience. Those that participate really have a positive impact on other users and the additive manufacturing industry as a whole."

The Top 20 list is in celebration of The TCT Magazine's 20th anniversary. The magazine, published by the Rapid News Group, asked its readers to vote for those individuals who they believed are most influential in the industry.

The TCT Magazine has been an Additive Manufacturing Users Group sponsor and partner for several years.
