Whittier Trust Adds Kim Wright-Violich to Its Board of Directors

Longtime philanthropist and financial executive, Kim Wright-Violich, joins the Board of Directors of Whittier Trust Company

Whittier Trust Investment and Wealth Management is pleased to announce that Kim Wright-Violich has joined their Board of Directors effectively immediately.

Kim is co-founder and Managing Partner of Tideline, a consulting firm that provides tailored advice to clients developing impact investment strategies, products, and solutions.  Its mission is to help clients excel in realizing financial and societal value. Prior to Tideline, Kim was the CEO of Schwab Charitable.  Kim oversaw the growth of Schwab’s charitable initiative from a start-up to the second-largest donor advised fund in the United States with $5 billion in contributed assets.

Ms. Wright-Violich was named one of the most influential women in the US in wealth management by Wealth Management magazine, and is widely published and quoted.  Kim has taught and lectured at multiple graduate schools of business including Berkeley-Haas School of Business and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
